Brussels, 29th november 2022: Botswana and Estonia established Diplomatic Relations in 2003. During the meeting the two expressed the commitment and willingness to strengthen the relationship and take advantage of the common values for mutual benefit and prosperity.
Estonia is the world leader on eGovernment. The country leads the EU initiative to assist developing countries advance the provision of online public services.
The two agreed to meet in Botswana during the first quarter of 2023 to cement cooperation between the two countries in eGovernment, bringing together public and the private sector from Botswana and Estonia.
