The Hague (The Netherlands), 31st May 2023: The Ambassador of the Republic of Botswana to the Kingdom of The Netherlands H.E Mrs Mmasekgoa Masire-Mwamba presented her Letters of Credence to His Majesty King Willem-Alexander of The Netherlands.
His Majesty King Willem-Alexander welcomed the Ambassador and congratulated her on her new assignment as Ambassador of the Republic of Botswana to the Kingdom of The Netherlands. For her part, Ambassador Mmasekgoa Masire-Mwamba expressed gratitude to His Majesty for receiving her and the opportunity to present her Letters of Credence.
Botswana and The Netherlands enjoy excellent bilateral relations founded on shared principles and commitment towards the promotion of human rights, democracy, good governance and the rule of law. The two countries also cooperate among others in the key sectors namely, education, agriculture and water-related issues.
The two leaders also exchanged views on enhancing cooperation and strengthening the bilateral relations between Botswana and The Netherlands.
