Botswana Vaccine Institute Ltd invites foreign companies to enter into Joint Ventures/partnerships with citizen-owned companies to facilitate citizen development and empowerment.
Bidders who are domiciled in Botswana must fulfil the following criteria in order to be considered for the tender:
i) Be registered with the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board (PPADB) in the following categories:
CODE: 322 HEALTH CARE CONSULTANCY SERVICES
Sub Code 01: Clinical or
CODE: 317 OTHER CONSULTANCY SERVICES
Sub-Code 07: Health Consultancy Services
ii) For foreign firms, the consulting firms must be registered with appropriate regulatory bodies in their respective countries.
iii) For Consortiums, proof of registration with professional bodies for all members (where applicable) to be in good standing.
iv) CIPA Extract showing (List of Directors and Shareholders of the Firm and their nationality).
v) International Companies must submit Certificates of Incorporation from their countries of origin.
vi) Valid Tax Clearance Certificate or an Exemption thereof (for local companies).
Tender documents will be available with effect from 11th April 2022 and can be obtained from Botswana Vaccine Institute Limited tender portal on www.bvi-tenders.co.bw on presentation of proof of payment at a non-refundable and non-transferable fee of BWP500.00 (Five Hundred Pula only).
Youth Owned Companies will pay BWP250.00 (Two Hundred and Fifty Pula) non-refundable and non-transferable fee upon submission of Identity Document (Omang) payable to the following BVI Account details:

Bids must arrive not later than 10:00 am (local time) on the 23rd May 2022. Tender bids should be deposited through BVI tender portal at www.bvi-tenders.co.bw. Submission to be in PDF Format. Bids received after the closing date and time shall NOT be accepted. Telephonic, Telegraphic, Telex, Email or Facsimile bids shall NOT be accepted. The opening of the proposals will be on the 23rd May 2022 immediately after tender closing at BVI Procurement Department foyer, Gaborone. Bid opening will be also done through virtual platforms.
